FraserHacks is Mississauga's largest high school hackathon organized entirely by students at John Fraser Secondary School. More than 100 students from all of Peel Region will be coming together on May 4, 2019, for a full 10 hours of friendly hacking, enthusiastic learning, and delicious food.
FraserHacks is a hackathon—an innovation marathon where students come together to work on groundbreaking projects. Team up with up to 3 of your friends and create anything you can dream of!
FraserHacks welcomes people of all coding backgrounds—even if that means none at all! We will have a variety of workshops and mentors at the event to help you write your first line of code.
We’re hosting a variety of workshops from coding basics to working with artificial intelligence. In addition, we will have a ton of fun activities planned for you such as an esports tournament, cup stacking, and more! FraserHacks is much more than just a hackathon—we'll make sure that it’s an event you’ll never forget.
Laptops, chargers, and a student card or other form of ID are required for the event. But feel free to bring whatever else makes you comfortable!
You can still participate! We’d love to have you as a mentor! You can message us here or on any of our social media platforms. We also have a Discord server here.
